Aamir Khan has recently purchased a property in Mumbai which costs a whopping Rs. 35 crore. While the reason behind this purchase is yet to be confirmed by Aamir himself, a report in a leading daily claims that the property acquired was for commercial purposes with Aamir looking to enter the entrepreneurial space.
A report in a leading daily has claimed that the actor purchased the property at the rate of Rs 37,854 per sq ft. Aamir has bought four office units – three on the second floor and the fourth one on the third floor – in a building named Prime Plaza. The stamp duty alone for this purchase costed Rs. 2.1 crore. A source close to the actor stated that the contract was signed by his mother Zeenat Tahir Hussain and is under the name of his production house Aamir Khan Productions.
On the professional front, Aamir Khan will next be seen in Lal Singh Chaddha. The film is an official adaptation of Hollywood film Forrest Gump, starring actor Tom Hanks.
